Updated: Jun 5

Bangalore is the tech and IT hub of India which witnesses a huge migration of people from not only all over Karnataka but also from all over India. This huge migration create demand for rented accommodations which leads to the hike in the rent.

There are still many areas in Bangalore which has affordable rent, perfect infrastructure and well connectivity to all parts of the city.

I am naming some of the areas in Bangalore offering some affordable rental flats and houses.

  • KR Puram

  • Yelahanka

  • Banaswadi/Horamavu

  • Nagarabhavi/Kengeri

  • Hebbal

  • Thanisandra

  • Gunjur /Varthur

  • Raja Rajeshwari Nagar

  • Sarjapur Road

  • Electronic City

  • Whitefield Outskirts

Let me explain one by one:

KR Puram or Krishnarajapuram has decent connectivity and infrastructure but it is slightly far from the city centre.

Rent range: 6,000 to 12,000 (depending on the features and amenities offered).

Yelahanka: It is an emerging location which is located in the North Bangalore. It is less crowded, has broad and metalled roads and peaceful sorroundings.

Rent range: 6,500 to 13,500

Banaswadi and Horamavu circle: It is older area so there are less premium flats.

Rent range: 7000 to 14000

Nagarabhavi and Kengeri area: It is located at the western part of the city and has good educational infrastructures. This area is good for students

Rent range: 6000 to 13000

Hebbal, Thanisandra and Jakkur area: This is under development and emerging location of the city though well connected to the city centre.

Rent range 8000 to 14000

Gunjur, Varthur and Sarjapur Road area:

This area has some of the luxurious apartments and one of the best infrastructures. So rent is a little bit higher

Rent range: 9000 to 15000

Whitefield outskirts ( Kadugodi, Hoskote area): If your office is in ITPL and EPIP Zone, you can live here in affordable rent and this area has excellent connectivity to all the parts of the city.

Rent range: 8,000 to 14,000

Electronic City: It has tech companies hub, well developed infrastructures and world class apartments.

Rent range: 10,000 to 16,000

For finding flats at rent at those locations, please don't deal with the brokers but deal with flats owners directly. Use real estate websites, Facebook groups and some Telegram groups for Bangalore renters for searching.

Use websites like

  • www . HOUSING BANGALORE. COM

  • www . Magicbricks .com

  • www . 99 acres . COM

  • www . Nobrokers .com

  • www . HOUSING BHARAT . COM

  • www. Makaan . com

For using Telegram groups for Bangalore renters, open your telegram account first and then go to the search box of your telegram account and then in the search box of your telegram account you should write @HousingBangalore

Please keep attention that you are not using space anywhere among @, Housing, Bangalore while you are writing @HousingBangalore in the search box of your telegram account.

I have written this answer after proper research.
